Photographed by Texas Photographer Amanda Smith, this beautiful black Percheron was rescued in September of 2016 - 800lbs underweight and filled with fungus on his tail bone, hocks, ears and under his mane on his neck, it took several months for Wild Rose Sanctuary to rehabilitate him. He also had severe injuries to his backside and back legs which kept him from walking comfortable, and not able to run at all. Those injuries with the help of horse therapists hired by Wild Rose Sanctuary (and paid for by generous donors including Linda Young of Florida who has been sponsoring Duke for the last several months,) are all but healed, and Duke makes progress every day. Photographer Amanda Smith of Texas, captured him beautifully in this amazing image of resilience, strength, and power.

All art prints are created on museum quality, professional Fuji photo archival canvas by our professional photo lab. They are gallery wrapped on solid wood stretcher bars with a solid black backing and come ready to hang. Every canvas has UV coating that protects against fading and scratching. Your gallery wrapped art print ships flat in a professional, protective cardboard art holder.
